The client challenged Nekuda to develop a medical device design with a reliable and durable mechanism. The system would need to provide high performance and also support diverse user weight. In addition, the diversity of users contains a range of sizes that calls for a universal solution, enabling users of all dimensions to comfortably use the product for continuous periods of time.
COMFORTABLE AND RELIABLE
The system was designed to be mobile, rechargeable and suitable for easy daily use. The foot pedal element embeds an internal clutch system to reduce component costs and prevent system wear and malfunctioning. The knee brace component is adjustable in size, providing a comfortable user experience to a wide range of consumers.
