The VISIO Smart Tap & Water System, developed end-to-end by Nekuda for Herman Water Technologies, has won the iF Design Award 2026 in the Product Design and Kitchen Appliances categories.
The iF Design Award is one of the most prestigious design competitions in the world, running for over 70 years. This year, 129 independent international jury members evaluated over 10,000 submissions from 68 countries. Past winners include Apple, Porsche, Samsung, and Sony.
VISIO is a premium under-counter water dispenser built for modern workplaces. You see one faucet on a countertop. Underneath, there’s a system delivering four types of water (cold, hot, ambient, sparkling), filtering it, controlling the temperature to the degree, and saving energy while doing it. The product eliminates countertop clutter and replaces multiple appliances with a single, minimalist tap.
The project reflects Nekuda’s core approach: design and engineering working together from concept through production. VISIO’s development covered industrial design, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing support, ensuring the product’s clean form is fully supported by its technical architecture.
Nekuda brings nearly 30 years of experience in water product development, having designed products for Strauss, Tami4, Watergen, and Mey Eden, among others. VISIO continues this legacy with a focus on sustainability, workplace aesthetics, and advanced functionality.
The design was led by Avner Sadot and Nekuda team.
VISIO targets workplaces across Asia, Europe, and North America.
